The Ladies with Ideas Creative Circle has been on my mind for years. Inspired by famous circles of creative thinkers such as The Inklings and the Bloomsbury Group, I wanted to create a space where women with ideas could encourage one another and bring those ideas to life.

Over the years, I have met many people with wonderful projects and concepts -ideas that could make a difference- but who did not know when or where to begin, what to do, or often felt overwhelmed, isolated, and discouraged before even starting at the idea of pursuing their endeavor alone.
This group encourages each other in the creative process, whatever its nature, and holds one another accountable. There is no pressure to complete a project in a set timeframe. We all have busy lives. One meaningful step in the right direction could create momentum.

The idea is to help other ladies of all ages put their projects into execution. There is no limitation on the nature of the project: writing, painting, everything is welcome. We meet once a month at the library, a coffee shop, or a restaurant to discuss each other’s creations honestly but kindly.
And maybe I should write an article about it. After all, motivation needs help sometimes to stay afloat!
